How the Schedule Actually Works
Dispatch by proximity
Rather than running every van out of a single yard and absorbing the drive time, we distribute crews and stock across the coverage area and assign jobs by proximity on the morning of the work. That is why a Coto de Caza appointment and a Laguna Niguel appointment receive the same arrival window instead of the outlying city permanently drawing the late slot. It also means the material for the most common jobs, a 60-amp circuit and a hardwired unit, is already loaded rather than collected on the way, which removes the most frequent cause of a late start.
Held-open capacity
A portion of every day is deliberately held open for two categories of work: new vehicle deliveries, where the customer has a date they cannot move, and dead or faulting chargers, where somebody genuinely cannot charge tonight.
