EV charger installation work on a Laguna Niguel garage wall
Our story

Why We Narrowed Down to One Kind of Work

Laguna Niguel EV Charger exists because of a mismatch anyone who bought an electric car in south Orange County has run into. The vehicles arrived faster than the trade adjusted, and drivers found themselves calling capable general electricians who treated a charger install as a filler job between service calls and remodels. The work was usually energized and often compliant, but the parts that separate an adequate installation from a durable one, load calculation to Article 220, continuous-duty conductor sizing, torque verification, enclosure specification against actual exposure, and full commissioning of the unit, were the parts most likely to be compressed. Narrowing to a single type of work meant those steps could be standardized instead of negotiated job by job.

Working one stretch of south Orange County teaches things a wide service area never will. We know which Laguna Niguel tracts still carry their original service and which have been upgraded, which associations along Crown Valley Parkway want a plan submitted before anything is touched, how differently equipment ages half a mile from the coast compared with half a mile from the 5, and which hillside lots turn a nominally short conduit run into an afternoon. That knowledge is why we can quote accurately over the phone, arrive with the correct materials already on the truck, and finish without the mid-job call that nobody enjoys making or receiving.

What the company stands for now is unglamorous and fairly old-fashioned. Calculate before quoting. Pull the permit every time. Give a number and honor it. Tell a customer plainly when the expensive option is not warranted, even when they arrived prepared to buy it. Torque the terminations, seal the penetrations, and leave the wall looking like somebody cared about it. None of that is a marketing position, it is simply what causes a neighbor to recommend you to the house up the street, and in Laguna Niguel that remains how most of our work arrives.

Our mission

What We Are Trying to Do

Our aim is to make installing a charger the least eventful part of owning an electric car in Laguna Niguel. In practice that means answering the phone, running the calculation before quoting the job, giving a flat price that holds, arriving inside the window we promised, doing permitted work that would survive any inspection anywhere, and remaining reachable afterward if something needs attention. We would rather perform a smaller job correctly and be called again than sell an upgrade nobody needed and be right once. The standard we hold ourselves to is straightforward: every installation we complete should still be safe, tidy, and performing exactly as designed a decade from now. That single test governs the materials we specify, the time we spend on terminations, and the shortcuts we decline.

Why us

Six Reasons Neighbors Call Us Back

EVITP-certified installers

Our people hold Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program certification, the curriculum written specifically for EV supply equipment. It covers what general electrical training does not: continuous-load derating, load management, power sharing, and network commissioning. Those are precisely the areas where a competent generalist is most likely to be working from inference rather than instruction.

Flat-rate pricing with a written workmanship warranty

One number, agreed before we begin, covering materials, labor, permit, and inspection. If something behind a wall changes the picture we stop and show you rather than adding to the invoice quietly. The workmanship is warrantied in writing and the manufacturer warranty is registered in your name on the day we finish.

Licensed, bonded, and insured in California

We hold a California C-10 electrical contractor license and carry both general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Ask any contractor for a license number before you let them near your service panel, and treat a change of subject as a complete answer.

Permits and inspection included, not billed separately

Every job we perform in Laguna Niguel and the neighboring cities is permitted and inspected, and that cost sits inside the flat rate. We file it, we meet the inspector, and we clear any correction notice at our own expense rather than yours.

We understand this particular coastline

Proximity to the ocean changes what a correct installation looks like, and properties near Salt Creek, Monarch Summit, and the Dana Point side of the city need enclosure ratings and fastener materials that inland work does not. We specify for coastal exposure by default here rather than treating it as an optional upgrade.

Certified across the major manufacturers

Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Enphase, Emporia, and Grizzl-E. Those certifications are what allow us to commission a unit to specification, configure power sharing correctly across multiple stations, and file a warranty claim successfully if one is ever needed.

Trust and credentials

Credentials, in Full

Every credential below is current, and we are glad to provide documentation before you book rather than after. Licensing and insurance are the baseline that any contractor should clear. The manufacturer certifications are what make the last twenty minutes of the job, the commissioning nobody sees, actually get done.
